Job description
Our Face Technology Division is currently seeking to expand its team with a Research & Development Engineer with practical software engineering capabilities and scientific background, who can understand and implement cutting-edge algorithms in the field of computer vision and image processing.
Visage Technologies’ face tracking and analysis algorithms can accurately locate faces and facial points in images or videos, and estimate age, gender, emotion, and identity. All these algorithms depend in large part on machine learning and are expected to run on a wide array of supported platforms.
The role of R&D Engineer includes independent research of the latest scientific publications, with a focus on practical implementation details such as execution speed and memory consumption. As part of the team, you will constantly seek to expand your knowledge through constructive thinking, discussion, latest scientific publications and conferences, and creatively apply this knowledge to real-world problems in face tracking and analysis.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for R&D Engineers with various degrees of experience, from fresh graduates to experienced R&D Engineers and/or Ph.D. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong programming background and be able to solve problems by thinking creatively.
